The studio is a few minutes down the road, which makes Port Kennedy the easiest suburb of all to book from. That proximity matters more than it sounds: you can come in for a morning appointment, be home well before the tan needs rinsing, and fit the whole thing around a normal day rather than blocking out an afternoon.

What a good tan actually involves

A good result is mostly preparation. Exfoliate the night before rather than the morning of, so your skin has time to settle. Shave or wax at least 24 hours ahead. Arrive with no moisturiser, deodorant, makeup or perfume, each creates a barrier the solution has to fight through, and barriers are where patchiness comes from. Afterwards: moisturise daily, pat dry instead of rubbing, and skip the long hot showers.

First time? That is most people.

A good share of Port Kennedy bookings are first-timers, usually talked into it by a friend before an event. Nothing about the appointment is uncomfortable: it takes twenty minutes, it happens in a private studio with just the two of us, and you can wear as much or as little as you want. I will talk you through the colour before we start, so there are no surprises when you rinse.

What it costs

Every tan is done at my private home studio, 35 Turtles Bend, Secret Harbour WA 6173. just minutes from the studio. There is no mobile service; clients travel in, and most say the trip stops being a consideration after the first tan.
