Every skin tone has a right answer. Which of these you wear is decided in the consult on the day, matched to your undertone and what you are tanning for.
Natural
The subtle one. Brown-based, about two shades deeper than your own skin, made for fair skin and brides who want "you, after a good holiday" rather than a transformation.
Tanned
The middle of the wardrobe: a medium bronze with a warm golden undertone, up to three shades deeper. If it is your first tan, this is usually where we start.
Exotic
Green-based, which quietly neutralises warm tones. Built for olive and deeper skin, up to four shades, and the one that photographs beautifully.
20 Minute
The rapid one: shower from twenty minutes and the colour keeps developing through the day. For tans booked at lunch and worn at dinner.
Chocolate
A rich, cool-toned chocolate brown, up to five shades deeper. The deep-but-believable option with a Mediterranean depth to it.
Ultra Dark
Violet-based and the deepest in the kit, up to six shades. Especially good on olive and cool complexions when maximum depth is the brief.
Your tan, hour by hour
- 1 15 minutes Your appointment. The application itself takes about fifteen minutes.
- 2 2 minutes Dry. You are dressed and out the door, not standing around.
- 3 20 min to 6 hrs First rinse, depending on which solution you choose and how deep you want the colour to develop.
- 4 That evening The colour has developed. Book at lunch, be ready for dinner.
- 5 7 to 10 days How long your tan lasts with the right prep and aftercare.

Organic spray tan questions
The active ingredient in every spray tan is DHA, and the difference is where it comes from and what surrounds it. Naked Tan’s DHA is derived from sugar beet and sugar cane, the solution is Australian made from natural ingredients, and it leaves out the parabens and alcohol that harsher solutions rely on. What it is not is a vague promise: the ingredient story here is specific and published by the brand.
No. The depth of your colour comes from the DHA level, which is chosen for your skin tone on the day. What the gentler formulation changes is how it feels and wears: softer on skin, no chemical smell, and a fade that stays even instead of going patchy.
Orange comes from cheap DHA applied too heavily for the skin wearing it. With the level matched to your undertone, the colour reads brown, like a week outdoors, which is the whole reason this solution stayed after fifteen years of trying others.
